All of us at Big News got some great news on Friday morning, when the nominations for the 2008 Del Close Awards were announced. Big News was nominated for Best Scripted Show, and two of our sketches and three of our videos were nominated as well! Plus, lots of Big News actors and writers were recognized in other categories, and our bartenders, box office staff and house managers all got nods as well!
The awards will be determined by ballots cast by iO West students and alumni until August 15, with the winners revealed in a gala ceremony held at iO West on Friday, August 22. If you slept in and missed the press conference where the nominees were announced, you can watch it here:
